DANSE MACABRE
8.25" skate deck (McGill's, Encinitas) with acrylic paint and Posca paint pen,
Danse Macabre is a tone poem meant to be played by an orchestra that personifies death by using different instruments to tell
the story. In elementary school, our music teacher would play it for us every October. We'd lie on the ground with our eyes closed, and then draw what we imagined.

8.25" skate deck (aquired by Kender from the side of the road) with acrylic paint. Inspired by the utter confusion of quarantine, the repetition of the phrase “WTF is going on'‘ and an ode to all the plants that I purchased (and may or may not have ended up killing) in that time. Dark Daze, indeed.
